Who is ready for Mardi Gras?!? 💜💛💚 I know we are! The 2022 Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Studios Orlando starts Saturday, February 3rd and runs through Sunday, April 24th!!
Parades, floats, food booths, beads, live music, and so much more!!!📿🎺🎶
Mardi Gras Parade and Floats Throughout the Park
If you’re ready to test your bead catching skills be sure to check out the Mardi Gras parade and all of the elaborate floats throughout the park. Stilt walkers and bead throwers all dressed gorgous and very jazzy attire are something to be seen!! The park emerses you in the full feel of a Mardi Gras good time in New Orleans
And want to hear something really cool?? The floats are actually from New Orleans…how snazzy is that?! Be sure to check the Times Guide or the Universal Studios app for parade times so you dont miss out!
Food & Drink Booths
Along with spectacular floats, you’ll find food booths from around the world, and of course NOLA! Be on the lookout and check the event map for: New Orleans, Floribbean, Fusion, Italy, Bloody Mary Bar, India, Central America, Brazil, and Southeast Asia.
Just like last years festival, there will be a Mardi Gras Food and Beverage Tasting Lanyard offered that you can purchase at any Mardi Gras food and beverage kiosk with the park. Tribute Store
The Mardi Gras Tribute Store is a much see/do at this celebration. Last years theme was Party like a Pirate…with costumes, sketches, models, and more behind the scenes Mardi Gras fun along with a unique shop to purchase masks, beads, tasty themed treats, and more, plus photo opts for amazing event pics!
Last year we came across the Shipwrecked Pirate souvenir and I really wish I would have picked up one….
I wonder what they’ll have this year!!
The Tribute Store is located at #2 on the map below…
when you walk in the entrance of the park you can keep walking straight and the store will be toward the end on your right!

On select nights throughout the event, there will be live music located at Music Plaza Stage starting at 8:30pm. We were so busy riding rides and enjoying all the festivities we missed the concert last year…bummer!! But this year we may get to see Jason Derulo, which funny enough I saw perform live on a New Year’s Eve trip to New Orleans!!
